From April 9, 2025, lovers of fusion cuisine will be able to discover a unique creation: Shibuya poké, the fruit of collaboration between Top Chef 2021 winner Mohamed Cheikh and the Heiko restaurant chain. This limited offer will enrich the menu of the chain's 18 establishments for a period of six months.
Inspired by the bustling streets of Shibuya in Tokyo, this dish is a celebration of Asian flavors and textures. Mohamed Cheikh has sought to transcend the traditional poké bowl by adding his own personal touch.

Bordeaux-based poké bowls chain Heiko has teamed up with chef Mohamed Cheikh (chef of the Meïda restaurant in Saint-Ouen and winner of season 12 of Top Chef) to create a limited-edition recipe. From April 9, for a period of 6 months, they are launching shibuya. A unique poké that promises an explosion of flavors with an assortment of salmon, wasabi coleslow, cucumber, avocado, ginger, wasabi crunch, pomegranate and sesame seeds.
"Asian influences, powerful contrasts, an explosion of tastes and textures. It's this energy that we wanted to capture in a single bite," commented Mohamed Cheikh. Founded in 2018 in Bordeaux by Ugo Truxler, Heiko Poké, which will post sales of 9.5 million euros in 2024, has 20 establishments in France, including 8 in Gironde (Bègles, La Teste de Buch, Langon, Mérignac, Pessac, Sainte-Eulalie and 2 in Bordeaux).

Heiko and Mohamed Cheikh have teamed up to create a new limited-edition poké recipe. The chef drew inspiration from his travels around the world to shape the Shibuya. The poké features fresh salmon, wasabi-twisted coleslaw, crunchy cucumber strips, pickled ginger, explosive wasabi crunch, melting avocado, the tangy pep of citrus soy sauce, a touch of pomegranate for freshness, and sesame seeds.
